The John Brooks Community Foundation and Scholarship Fund was founded on September 25 1981 and was incorporated under the Canadian Corporations Act by Letters Patent dated the 27th day of April 1990.


The John Brooks Community Foundation and Scholarship Fund is a recognized charitable organization, which aims to motivate students to achieve academic excellence and to give students an awareness of their importance to society through social programs and the scholarship fund.
The Foundation depends on public and individual donations, corporate sponsorships, and the support of volunteers.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVES:

  • Identify excellence and achievement in the community
  • Facilitate appropriate programs that would be of benefit to the youth of the community
  • Work in conjunction with other organizations with similar purpose, and to influence policy on matters pertaining to the youth of the community.
