The John Brooks Community Foundation and Scholarship Fund assists in the development and support of young people, particularly, young people of African descent, who are currently registered in middle and secondary school. The Foundation aims to motivate students to achieve academic excellence and to provide them with an awareness of their importance to society through social programs and the scholarship fund. Awards are presented annually to students from Grades 7 to 12 in order to encourage them to work harder towards their goals.
